At the heart of the ISDR system are all-directional snubbers made from reinforced neoprene, specifically designed to prevent metal-to-metal contact. Proper installation is crucial, with snubbing elements requiring a clearance of 1/8″ to 1/4″ from the housing under operational conditions to maximize effectiveness. The ISDR Double Deflection Neoprene Mount features ribbed surfaces on both the bottom and top to enhance isolation efficiency, providing optimal vibration dampening.
