ISOTECH® Cable Restraint Systems are designed to secure piping, ductwork, electrical cable trays, and other suspended equipment, providing essential seismic and wind load resistance. Each Cable Restraint Kit includes two sets of 10-foot, certified pre-stretched 7×19 galvanized aircraft cables, manufactured in compliance with ASTM A1023 and MIL-83420 standards. These cables are engineered to deliver optimal strength and durability. Each cable assembly comes with factory-swaged attachment brackets made from high-strength, specialty-grade steel, and zinc-plated hardware for corrosion resistance. The attachment brackets are designed to be connected to steel structures, with ratings determined by the attachment anchor details. ISOTECH’s Cable Restraint Systems are not designed to support dead loads or act as vertical hangers but are ideal for securing non-structural components to building structures for seismic safety. These systems provide robust protection against both seismic and wind forces, ensuring compliance and safety in various building applications.
