Background to Rolling Stones 27th May 1976 concert : The May 1976 London performances of the Rolling Stones was a part of their long 1976 European Tour, all of which were quickly sold out. Photographer Nobby Clark, who was present at the 27th May concert, described Jagger as being at his most theatrical, and Richards as wild and just on the edge during his performances.
