Description Item description: A pair of 1960s Armstrong Selectaride shock absorbers, new old stock, and still contained within their original factory packaging. The pack contains a pair of new old stock shock absorbers, complete with cables. The kit also contains the full vehicle cable set that runs from the switch on the instrument board, through the transmission tunnel and to plug in to the shock absorbers at the back of the vehicle. Condition report: The kit remaining unused and new old stock. Some age related paint loss to the pair of shock absorbers. The cables remaining perfect. Switch perfect. The entire box remaining sturdy and free from damage apart from light storage age. The artwork to the box front remaining vibrant. Special notes: This original 1960s kit was acquired for the Museum from a former dealership. Although this factory set were manufactured for fitting to a Bristol car, the packaging and format would be the same as when the units were sent to Jensen Motors, and as such were used as a display item.
