Like pernambuco, Brazilwood also comes from Brazil and has been used in bow making for 260 years. This made in Beijing stick is in octagonal section. The bow has a strong head and an ebony frog in the Pecatte style. The frog has single mother-of-pearl eyes, a fully mounted nickel silver heel, and a colorful mother-of-pearl slide full of pink and green hues. The winding is nickel silver with a black silk accent. The frog is finished with a three-piece endscrew. The bow is a new stick in great condition. This would make an excellent stick for someone looking to start out in a better wooden cello bow.
